A unique opportunity to own a bespoke made Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Oak Display Stand suitable for displaying specimen flowers, plants, vases or sculptures. Adzed all over and of significantly larger size overall than the standard plain
models, standing on an 11″ (dia) octagonal base and the tapering pedestal column extending to 44″ height with a 9″ diameter octagonal carved and adzed plinth to the top. The highlight on the piece is undoubtedly the bespoke and
delicately carved grape vine with well observed leaves and bunches of grapes which extends around the base and then twists skillfully two thirds of the way up the adzed octagonal pedestal coloumn. Clearly well
looked after from new it presents in wonderful condition with no losses or damage to the intricate carving details, the only minor marking being to the top plinth were there is the expected evidence of light pot ring marking following use as intended.
