Circa  1960s / early 1970s

An excellent example of a bespoke made free standing 4’6″ wide solid oak bookcase from ‘Fisman’ Derek Slater’s earlier solo career when his trademark was a carved fish. He is also known as the ‘Lizardman’,  as he later joined with Martin Dutton  and took up and continued his tradition of carving a lizard onto all his work. Solid oak throughout the bookcase is made from 20mm thick oak planks and presents in a superb waxed condition free from any damage, repair or significant staining.

Size: 136 (w) x 22.5(d) x 93(h) cm. Shelf heights 22.5cm and 30cm.
