Circa late 1970s
An impressive solid oak dining set from ex Mouseman Yorkshire craftsman Albert ‘Eagleman’ Jeffray. Comprises an octagonal 4’6″ diameter dining table with an adzed top sitting on a central cruciform pedestal base with sledge feet. These octagonal tables seat 4 in comfort and will accomodate up to 8. Cleaned and wax polished in our workshop, it presents in superb condition and colour free from any staining, damage or repairs. Complimented by a set of 6 of the highly popular lattice backed dining chairs with their original aniline cow hide seats and Alberts trademark Eagle incised prominently on each chair, and the table. The chair frames have also been cleaned and wax polished in our workshop. The original cow hide seats, whilst having some surface staining and creasing, inevitable on the untreated natural aniline hide used, remain very usuable. Fairly priced accordingly, we will be pleased to discuss and assist if purchasers wish to consider replacing the leather. The set represents great value for such high quality craftsmanship. From the same original ownership as the display cabinet – see stock ref: DS1463.
