A lovely example of the rare to market early Mouseman Horseshoe Ashtray which features the horseshoe carved directly into the oak. Evidence of usage in the bowl and cut-outs which now enhance the character and patina of the piece. This earlier made piece is of smaller overall w x d than the more modern made pieces which are occasionally seen on the market. Lovely carved signature mouse.
