Circa 1990s

An excellent example of a 9 3/4″ diameter oak fruitbowl from former mouseman craftsman Malcolm’ Foxman’ Pipes who established his own business in Cartlton Husthwaite, near Thirsk in 1983. Adzed and tooled all over, baize lined to the base, with a detailed tudor rose carved  centrally in the bowl and his signature foxes face  incised to the outside of the bowl.

Presented in pristine condition with a lovely medium oak colour. 

Malcolm retired and closed his business a couple of years ago.
