Circa 1940s

A wonderfully deep coloured and patinated earlier made example of the highly popular adzed oak Mouseman Fruitbowl, characterised by the mouse carving to the exterior  and the smaller diameter  than is found on post 1960 made fruitbowls.

Whilst not visible to casual observation, a very close inspection reveals an old professional restoration which we’ve highlighted  for the benefit of our valued clients in the image gallery below, and is reflected in the price being asked for this lovely piece.
