A superb example of a large 5′ wide  x 2’9″ deep solid oak Kneehole Desk from the Yorkshire Critters craftsman Derek Slater who trained at Acorn Industries and later set up on his own, initially carving a Fish motif, later a Lizard following the original Lizardman Martin dutton’s retirement. Features a bank of 4 graduated drawers to the left and three graduated drawers to the right, the lower right being for A4 sized files, some which are included. All the drawers feature handcarved yorkshire rose door knobs. The desk also features panelled sides and rear and stands on 8 octagonally carved block feet.

Superb condition and a  golden oak clear waxed colour………. it’s also heavy !
