Circa 1980s/90s

A most unusual adzed Oak Shelf made we believe by a Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson’s craftsman in their own time for their own family use. Beautifully made with a nicely adzed top, the shelf is supported underneath and screws onto the wall. Not signed with the usual expected mouse carving, just an outline mouse  incised to the front centre edge. Locally sourced in the Thirsk area.

Excellent condition,  waxed medium fumed colour.
