Circa 1960s/70s

An excellent four legged stool with distinctive  adzed ‘cats paw’ burred oak handcrafted by Thomas ‘Gnomeman’ Whiattaker of Littlebeck near Whitby, North Yorkshire. His signature gnome is carved prominantly to the lower corner of one leg.
