An excellent oak Hall / Console Table by the ‘Yorkshire Critters’ craftsman Phil Langstaff of Carthouse Furniture. Features a planed top over two fielded panel drawers with wooden drawer knobs and panelled sides. Standing on four octagonally carved legs , joined with a lower storage shelf. Phil’s cartwheel signature centrally placed on the front facing edge of the lower shelf.
Excellent condition , warm medium oak finish. Some surface finish wear visible on the top has now been recified in our workshop.
Carthouse Furniture was founded in 1995 by Phil Langstaff, the son of David ‘Oakleafman’ Langstaff. They moved to their current premises at Glebe Farm, Carleton Minniott near Thirsk in 2003 where they continue to produce handcrafted hardwood furniture, mostly in oak.
