Circa 1940s / early 50s

A superb example of an earlier made adzed oak Robert  Mouseman Thompson Trinket Box. Of  smaller overall proportions than the more modern made equivalents these early trinket boxes are very highly sought after when they come to market. It has an excellent very finely detailed earlier  mouse carved prominently to the top of the lid, with no chips of wear.
