Circa 1980s

Excellent condition solid oak Blanket Box from the ex mouseman craftsman Lyndon ‘Catandmouseman’ Hammell who set up his own workshop in 1978. Features an adzed top with cleated and pinned ends and panelling to all sides. Clean inside and out.  We’ve rectified some light fade to one side by chemically stripping the original polyurethane finish and resealing the wood with a fresh coat,  finishing with clear wax over.
