Stock ref: DS2579
Circa 1940s/50s
An excellent example of an earlier made Robert Thompson ‘Mouseman’ Oak Stool with a lattice woven leather strapped seat. Of traditional recangular form, standing on four octagonally carved legs joined by stretchers, all subtly adzed and darker fumed from new. The original leather strapping is intact and in lovely condition for its age. A trademark mouse is carved to the outer facet of one leg.
Excellent condition and colour to the frame and leather.
