Circa 1950s

An excellent example of the earlier made Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Oak Cheeseboard which features a large mouse carved to the platter. To reduce the risk of handle breakage  the mouse carvingit was moved in around 1960 to the handle to help strengthen it.

Excellent condition and waxed colour, minor knife cuts on the board to indicate usage as intended during its life.
