Circa 1960

A superb example of the earlier made 5′ wide, adzed all over, taller  Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson solid oak sideboard.  Clean and stain free adzed top with rear upstand over a central bank of two short and three long drawers, the top right drawer baize lined for cutlery. To either side  are panel doored shelved cupboards with traditional wrought iron fittings. An excellent signature mouse is carved to the canted edge of one front corner. All supported on octagonally carved feet.

Superb condition following a  clean and re-wax in our workshop.

Currently costs £ 9,190 to buy new ( only adzed now to top, not frame, panels or drawer fronts)
