An excellent very early 4′(w) x 6′(h) solid oak double wardrobe by Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson of Kilburn. Constructed in the earliest wardrobe design with adzed panels, beading around the panels, half penny moulded top and ean arly design of wrought iron door fittings. Carved mouse signature to the upper front edge. The twin doors open to reveal long hanging space of the left with three open shelves and three graduated drawers to the right side. q
Excellent condition and rich darker fumed, aged and waxed colour.
