An excellent oak mirror stand by the ‘Yorkshire Critters’ craftsman Phil Langstaff ‘ Cartwheelman’ of Carthouse Furniture. Features a central swing mirror with arched top and bevelled glass supported on twin octagonally carved upright posts. Twin storage drawers below shaped fronts and brass knobs. Phil’s cartwheel signature is centrally placed on the lower rail of the mirror. Original , earlier address label to the inside of one drawer. Protective baise lined to the underside.
Excellent condition , warm medium oak finish.
Carthouse Furniture was founded in 1995 by Phil Langstaff, a relative of David ‘Oakleafman’ Langstaff. They moved to their current premises at Glebe Farm, Carleton Minniott near Thirsk in 2003 where they continue to produce handcrafted hardwood furniture, mostly in oak.
