Circa 1970s

A wonderful vintage example of the extremely popular Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson solid oak Trinket Box. Adzed and tooled inside and out with a well  carved mouse on the lid. ( modern examples are larger and the most recent are machine cut internally.)

Rich depth of colour, wonderful condition, minor usage chip to the under rim and a workshop filled knot on the lid, shown in the image gallery below.
