Circa early/mid 1980s

A superb  bespoke commissioned  2′ wide oak Lamp or Occasional Table from Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger who’s business traded as Acorn Industries in Brandsby, up until the final family member retired in 2005. Two plank planed top supported by adzed trestle sides and sledge feet, joined by a pegged stretcher which displays a trademark carved acorn. 

The table presents in superb waxed condition with a medium oak colour, testament to loving and careful original local ownership, from whose family we have acquired it together with a number of other pieces.
