Circa early/mid 1980s

A superb bespoke made wall shelving unit made by the Acorn Industries workshop of Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger and his family. Adzed all over and beautifully constructed and proportioned with fine details such as canted edges and rounded corners,  it was made for the original owner to hold their telephone, note book etc. It was used in conjunction with the stool which was sited below it to allow for seated phone conversations. Of course, the wall unit can be utilised for any number of home storage solutions and is complete with the 4 original screw fittings. A signature acorn carving is prominent on the side.

Cleaned and waxed it presents in excellent condition with no damage, repair or stains.

Size: 37.5(w) x 26(d) x 32.2(h)cm.  21.5cm / 8 1/2″ height between base and shelf.
