Circa 1960s/70s

A very rare to market 11 1/4″ large  solid oak Fruitbowl  from the Acorn Industries workshop of Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger and family.  Of circular lathe turned form with groved bands around the outside edge, leather lined base and Alan’s signature acorn carved in relief. Dark oak colour with no damage, just slightly darker staining internally to evidence usage as intended.
