An excellent example of an Alan ‘Acornman’ Grainger Oak Standard Lamp from  their Acorn Industries workshops at Brandsby, near York. With a typical octagonal tooled and stepped base with central adzed column.  Their trademark acorn carving to the base, brass fittings and earthed 3 core wiring. Privately acquired from the original owners family with other Acornman pieces including a Sideboard and Dining Set.
