A very rare, privately purchased, beautifully patinated, bespoke made pair of Burr Oak Bookends by Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson with rare convex shaped front and the traditional half penny moulding top and bottom,  which is usually associated with the more modern triple mouse bookends. The burr oak gives it a wonderful character and colour. Signature mice carved to the front of each, minor scuffing to the ears and the usual natural gnarls and cracking associated with aged burr oak.

Purchased directly from the owners and a superb addition  for discerning collectors of early Mouseman pieces.
