Circa late 1970s

A superb pair of the highly popular Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson solid oak Lattice Backed Dining Chair with their original untreated aniline cow hide seats. Little used over the years they are in superb condition, the original hides are almost completely unmarked, which is very rare as collectors will appreciate, as these original untreated hides  have always been very prone to staining.

Purchased from the same private ownership as the Mouseman table and 4 chair set (DS2082 –  with 4 chairs re-leathered 2010), this pair of chairs is offered individually or together with that set.

Circa early 1970s

A superb example of a solid oak Dining Set from  the workshops of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson, comprising a solid oak 5′ refectory style  Dining Table and a choice of  4 or 6 Lattice Back Dining Chairs.

Originally purchased as a 4 chair dining set in the early 1970s, the table and 4 chairs were refurbished and the chairs re-leathered in November 2010 at Robert Thompson’s, with little use since. The whole set presents in superb condition, purchased directly from the original owners family.

Also from the same family ownership are two later purchased Lattice Back Dining Chairs (late 1970s). We are also offereing these separately, see details for stock ref: DS2083.  These have had almost no use over the years and retain their original untreated aniline cow hide which is in superb condition. As collectors will know, this earlier untreated cow hide is prone to staining and marking, but this pair is almost unmarked, and their hide colour is very similar to that on the four earlier made  but re-leathered chairs.
