A wonderful example of a rare to market Table Lamp from the ex mouseman craftsman Peter ‘Rabbitman’ Heap of Wetwang, near Driffield. Adzed all over, standing on a square base with inserted irregular  and a new antiqued brass bulb holder with integral on / off switch. Peter’s trademark rabbit is carved in high relief to one side. In full working order with  new 3 core period braided wiring, plug and 3 amp fuse.

Super condition and colour, a tiny old filled chip to a top corner edge which is well blended and shown in the image gallery below.

An excellent oak Robert Mouseman Thompson Pen Tray with castellated penny moulding to the outer edge, two pin trays and large pen/pencil holder, well defined mouse carved in high profile to the top centre. It presents in excellent condition  with a rich colour following a clean and rewax.

Circa 1980s

A superb example of the highly popular  oak Trinket Box from the Kilburn workshops of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson. Adzed and tooled inside and out with a large and well defined mouse  sitting proudly to the centre of the box lid. Excellent condition with a rich medium colour.

An excellent example of the relatively rare  Ashtray from ex mouseman craftsman Peter ‘Rabbitman’ Heap.  Of typical adzed / tooled  form with a large trademark rabbit carved centrally to the rear of the ash bowl. This particular example  appears to be unused as an ashtray and presents in wonderful condition with very distinctive graining to the oak.

An excellent example of a Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson of Kilburn oak Wall Clock of typical form with an octagonal carved wooden case with mouse signature and a german quartz battery movement set in a brass surround. Wall fixing bracket to the rear.  Cleaned and re-waxed it presents  in excellent condition and full working order.

Circa 1940s/50s

A superb example of an early Mouseman Book Trough, extensively adzed to all visible surfaces including the rear. The amount of adzing has been reduced over the years and since the late 70s only the quadrant sides have been adzed.  Presents in excellent condition with a wonderful patina  and rich aged colour tones.  It also features an upwards facing carved  mouse which is rarer to find on these book troughs as they are harder to carve against the grain.

Circa 1970s

A wonderful example of the popular  3 legged Cow Stool from the Kilburn workshops of Robert Mouseman Thompson. Of typical  form with a kidney shaped seat supported by three octagonally carved and tapering legs, the wedged leg joints visible through the top of the seat. A trademark mouse carved in high relief to the centre edge of the shaped  and subtly adzed seat. Originally purchased as one of a pair, made by the same craftsman.

Super condition with solid leg joints and a rich warm colour.

Circa 1960s/70s

An excellent adzed and tooled 11 3/4″ diameter Robert Mouseman Thompson Fruitbowl, being an earlier made example of this design, with a lovely sleek mouse to the centre of the bowl. Wax polished, it has been used and presents in wonderful condition with a lovely patina and rich depth of colour.

Circa 1940s/50s

A superb pair of adzed vintage Mouseman bookends with excellent fumed and naturally aged rich colour and patina, with wonderfully well carved angled mice, typical of the period. Excellent condition, just a very tiny nick to one ear and a natural small wood grain split to one upper corner, all shown in the image gallery below.
