Circa 1980s

We’ve always loved these solid oak Bob ‘Wrenman’ Hunter Pin Dishes, infact these pieces and his napkin rings are what started David’s passion in all things ‘Yorkshire Critters’ shortly after we moved to North Yorkshire in 1995 and Bob gifted a number of pieces to his wife Paula as a special personal thankyou.

Exquisitely observed and carved, as always.

Excellent colour and wax polished. There’s  a small chip on the  end of the wren’s tail, a common issue on vintage pieces, other than that it can’t be faulted.
