A rare to market oak ashtray from the former mouseman craftsman Colin ‘Beaverman’ Almack of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe, near Thirsk. Of square form with triangular bowl and a large trademark beaver carved prominently to the upper surface. Excellent colour with slight wear to the tail of the Beaver and a cigarette cut-out.
