Circa 1970s

An excellent octagonal occasional / coffee table from the Sutton under Whitestonecliffe workshops of ex Mouseman craftsman Colin ‘Beaverman’ Almack. Features an adzed octagonal top supported by a shaped cruciform pedestal base with crossed sledge feet. Colin’s trademark beaver is carved centrally in high relief to one edge of the pedestal leg. Fully cleaned and rewaxed in our workshop it presents in excellent condition with a warm medium oak colour. 

Originally one of a pair, the other is currently in our storage unit awaiting preparation for sale separately, but we’ll be pleased to discuss if you are interested in the pair.
