Circa  late 1980s / 90s

An excellent  display use only example of a rare to market  solid oak Ashtray from the ex mouseman craftsman David ‘Oakleafman’ Langstaff, carved with his distinctive oakleaf signature besides the ashbowl. Excellent condition  with no losses and a deeper fumed medium oak colour. David retired and closed his workshop a decade ago, although a family relative now has  the  Carthouse Furniture business in Thirsk.
