Circa 1960s

An exceptional and possibly unique  16″ x 6″ x 6″ Oak Trinket / Keepsake Box from the ex Mouseman craftsman and original ‘Foxman’ Don Craven who established and operated  his  Aldborough Woodcrafts  business with Bob Hunter in the 1960s and 70s. Superbly constructed, displaying exceptional carpentery skills and tooled all over in typical Mouseman and Yorkshire Critters style. His trademark carved seated fox sits prominently on the hinged top.

Superb condition and colour, privately acquired.
