An extremely rare (the only one we’ve seen come to market) solid oak ashtray by Herbert ‘Kingfisherman’ Bird who had a workshop and saleroom in the Shambles, York. Unused display piece, his signature kingfisfer carved in high relief.

Superb condition and rich darker fumed colour.

A wonderful piece for the ‘Yorkshire Critters’ collectors.
