A superb 4'10" wide x 6'3" tall solid oak Welsh Dresser from the former mouseman craftsman Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray of Sessay near Thirsk. Adzed all over, the upper display shelved rack is detachable from the lower sideboard for transport. Three fixed flat shelves with twin grooves cut into them allows for the display of plates and other treasured ornaments or photographs. The lower sideboard with three upper drawers, one fitted out and lined for cutlery, with shelved cupboards below, all with traditional wrought iron fittings.
Privately sourced directly from the original Scottish owners it presents in superb condition and medium colour and has been sypathetically cleaned and wax polished in our workshop prior to sale. Exceptionally clean interior, the shelves having been paper lined from new by the original owners.

The only example we've seen come to the market of an Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray 6" Oak Trinket Box, making it a much rarer piece than the very popular Mouseman equivalent. Carved from a single solid block of oak it features adzed tooling all over, internally and externally, with a detailed carved yorkshire rose incised into the hinged lid and baize lining to the underside. Excellent condition with a wonderful rich medium fumed colour.

An excellent glazed and leaded wall hanging oak Corner Display Cabinet from the ex mouseman craftsman Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray of Sessay, Nr Thirsk. Adzed to all visible surfaces including the panels, two fitted oak shelves, wrought iron door fittings. Albert's trademark Eagle is incised to the lower front canted side. Complete with lock and 2 keys, an underside fixing bracket and screw fixings.
Wonderful medium fumed colour.

A superb bespoke commissioned 5' oak Welsh Dresser from the ex mouseman craftsman Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray of Sessay, Nr Thirsk. Adzed to all visible surfaces, the detatchable upper section features three fixed shelves and a lockable cupboard with carved tudor rose and new lock and keys. The lower sideboard section features three drawers over four panelled cupboard doors, all with tudor rose carved handles, and shelving within. Albert's trademark incised eagle is carved to the side of the upper section. Complete with the original sales invoice.
The piece presents in superb condition and medium fumed colour following a clean and wax in our workshop.

A superb 4'10" oak Sideboard from the former Mouseman craftsman Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray of Sessay, near Thirsk. Features a rear upstand and two plank top over three drawers, one baize lines with cutlery storage compartments. Below are twin two door cupboards, each with an inner fitted shelf. The sideboard is extensively adzed to all visible surfaces and Albert's trademark eagle is incised into the lower right side.
Privately acquired from the original owner in a village close to Knaresborough, together with a dining table and chairs (DS1642). Cherished and well looked after from new in 1990, which is testament to its original owner, it has nevertheless been gently cleaned and re-waxed by us to our usual exacting standards prior to sale, and presents in superb condition in a warm light / medium oak colour.

A superb 5'6" long refectory style oak dining table and 6 dining chairs from the deceased former Mouseman craftsman Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray of Sessay, near Thirsk.
The table features an adzed four plank top which is unusually wide at 92cm ( Mouseman 5', 6' 7' tables are 87.5cm wide, 8' 91.5cm wide), supported by square and octagonally carved baluster legs supported by a lower adzed stretcher and sledge feet. Albert's trademark eagle is incised prominently into one of the facets of the leg.
The 6 oak framed dining chairs retain their original fawn coloured leather, which is in excellent condition, and feature carved tudor rose backs. The webbed undersides still retain their original Sept 1990 dated fire safety standard compliance labels.
Privately acquired from the original owner from a village close to Knaresborough, together with a sideboard which is currently being prepared for sale. A wonderful 3'3" refectory style coffee table from ex mouseman craftsman Albert 'Eagleman' Jeffray featuring an adzed three plank top supported by two turned and carved baluster legs on sledge feet, joined by a stretcher. Albert's trademark eagle is incised to one foot. Unusually for a Yorkshire Critters piece it has been carved with Alberts initials and a year date to the underside. Excellent golden honey colour and free from any damage or stains.
