Circa 1980s

An excellent 13 3/8″ circular turned oak Bowl from ex mouseman carftsman Lyndon ‘Catandmouseman’ Hammell of Harmby, Nr Leyburn.  Carved from a solid block of English oak it presents  with  a medium oak  colour and waxed condition with some evidence of old usage marks to the inner bowl. There’s a small hairline on the inner bowl which does not extend to the exterior. Lyndon’s carved signature is carved is incised to the outer side of the bowl. Lyndon died in 2015.
