A pristine example of the four legged cow stool made by Malcolm ‘Foxman’ Pipes. Traditional waisted and shaped seat carved from a single plank of quarter sawn oak with lovely graining, over four tapered octagonal legs with exposed and
wedged joints visible in the seat. Malcolm’s incised foxes face is carved into the seat. In pristine condition and excellent colour.
This is just one piece from a large collection of Foxman pieces acquired privately directly from the estate of a lady who corresponded regularly with Malcolm and his mother up to the time of her recent death. All the pieces from this estate have been
cherished from new and are in pristine condition.
