Stock ref: DS2265
Circa late 1930s/40s
A wonderfully coloured and patinated example of an early solid oak Ashtray from the workshop of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson. Large mouse carving with particularly neatly carved whiskars. There’s a chip to one ear and some evidence in the bowl of usage as originally intended. Overall, a very good honest used early piece.
