A wonderful large oak floor standing corner cupboard with penny moulded rear upstand and adzed top, twin adzed and panelled doors with traditional wrought iron fittings and early square headed screws. Panelled and adzed sides and rear. Internally with three fixed oak shelves and the base shelf for storage. Standing on octagonally carved feet, one carved with a trademark mouse in high relief.
Provenance: Family owned from new, commissioned for Darras Hall, Ponteland, Newcastle in 1937.
