Circa 1940s/50s

A wonderful pair of 8″ solid oak candlesticks from the workshop of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson on octagonal facetted bases with a carved central stem. Excellent detailed mouse carving to one candlestick. Excellent colour. Each has 3 small holes on the top collar, possibly where a sconce has been attached in the past, otherwise they are in perfect condition.
