Circa 1970s

A rare and highly unusual X framed 3′ Coffee Table from the former Mouseman craftsman Peter ‘Rabbitman’ Heap of Wetwang near Driffield. The rectagular 3 plank adzed top is supported on curved tooled legs joined by stretchers, his trademark rabbit carved prominently to one leg.   Carefully stripped, cleaned and re-waxed in our workshop it now presents in a  wonderful golden oak colour.
