A superb and unusual oak Craft / Sewing Cabinet from the Burton Leonard, Nr.Harrogate, craftsman Robert ‘Kingpost’ Ingham. Adzed to all visible surfaces and of rectangular form, very much in the Cotswold School style, with a hinged fall front opening to reveal two inner drawers and open storage below, standing on a plinth base. Distinctive Cotswold School style visible dovetale jointing and shaped elongated wooden door handle. Robert’s trademark kingpost beam is carved to the upper side of the cabinet. It presents in excellent condition and colour following a clean and re-wax in our workshop.
