Circa 1940s

A superb example of the sought after early 12″ Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Oak Table Lamp,. Hand tooled all over with the typical leaf forms carved to the corners of the base, triangulation to the top, and  a large finely detailed mouse carved in high relief to one facet of the tapering octagonally carved central column. Darker fumed from new it  presents with a natural  golden brown colour. 

Rewired in the past with  plastic switchable bulb holder and 2 core wiring it presents in full working order. We can rewire with our usual period braided 3 core earthed wiring and brass bulb fittings if customers would prefer it.
