An excellent example of the popular 18″ Cow Stool from the Kilburn workshops of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson. Features the traditional adzed and dished kidney shaped seat with 3 tapering octagonally carved legs which are wedge jointed through the seat. A trademark mouse is carved to the centre front edge of the stool. Medium fumed from new with a rich deep honey colour.
Privately acquired locally in Yorkshire together with the slightly later made example, DS1652.
