Circa 1960

Traditional kidney shaped ‘Mouseman’ Robert Thompson three legged milking stool with a contoured and subtly adzed quarter sawn single plank seat displaying lovely figuring in the oak. A large mouse carved centrally in high relief facing right as you look at the stool from the front. Typical splayed octagonal legs with exposed wedged joints visible on the top of seat. Tight leg joints  and lovely waxed colour with just the slightest old trace of a minor stain on the seat.

Size:  36(w) x 29(d) x 35.5(h) overall, seat 30(w) x 24(d).
