Circa late 1970s

An excellent example of a Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson solid oak Bureau  with adzed top and fall front which opens out, supported on twin lopers with carved mice, to reveal internal compartments and a  desk area. Two half width and two full width storage drawers below with panelled sides and rear. Complete with original key and working lock. Privately purchased from the original owners family.

Photographed as acquired, prior to cleaning, refurbishing  and re-waxing which is included in the price quoted below. 

There is currently some usual and expected light splash staining and fading to the waxed finish. Structurally it is completely sound.  If you are happy to take the piece as it is photographed please contact us directly for pricing.
