Circa late 1950s

Lovely example of an older   three legged calf / cow  stool, the adzed kidney shaped seat on three splayed tapering octagonal legs, the joints wedged and visible through the seat. Excellent condition with no loose leg joints and an aged honey
colour, just minor marking to the seat commensurate with age related normal usage. A distinctive mouse is carved to the rear outer edge of the seat, on more modern made stools the mouse  is positioned centrally to the front in the kidney depression.
