Circa  1950s

Excellent traditional four legged stool with Robert Thompson’s distinctive adzed and steamed curved top, made from a single plank of oak which is nailed to the stool apron and legs.  Standing on four square and octagonally carved legs, joined by  stretchers, an excellent signature mouse carved to the facet of one leg.

Darker fumed from new it pesents in  excellent condition with tight joints and benefits fom a re-wax in our workshop.
