A lovely traditional oak rocking chair in wonderful condition from the Kilburn workshops of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson. Features five vertical slats to the back instead of the more commonly seen carved lattice panels, with arms supported by carved octagonal front legs, a trademark mouse carved in high relief to one. Original chocolate brown colour cow hide seat, hardly ever used, secured with antiqued brass upholstery studding and original fire safety compliance label to the underside dated 1/11/2011

Presented in wonderful condition free from any staining, deep medium fumed colour with clear wax finish. There is just minor evidence of pet teeth marks on the rear curved ends of the rockers, shown clearly in the image gallery.
