Circa 1980s

An excellent example of the Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Oak Rocking Chair with the earlier untreated aniline  cow hide. Privately purchased from the original owners family in Harrogate it’s been well looked after, with minimal marking to the original aniline cow hide seat.

Photogrpahed in ‘as purchased’ condition the framework has since been cleaned and re-waxed, the leather conditioned to ensure it retains its suppleness.
