Circa 1930s – 50s

An excellent example of the highly sought after earlier Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson  oak fruitbowl. Adzed and tooled inside and out  with the mouse carved characteristically to the  outside of the bowl. Superb condition  and natural  darker fumed chestnut brown colour with no damage or evidence of fruit acids reacting with the tannins in the oak.
