A rare to market and exceptionally well observed and carved model of a typical Victorian Whitb / Scarborough Fisherwoman from the Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson workshop in Kilburn. Only ever made in very limited numbers it is carved from a single block of oak and stands 14 1/2″ tall, believed to be the work of their master carver at this time Stan Dodds.
Superb condition and natural waxed colour with no losses or repair, baize lined to the base.
