Circa 1960s

A superb example of the very rare to market Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson Spinning Stool. This is only the second example of its type we’ve had in all our years of professional trading as they were only made in the 1960s and early 70s. Features a large subtly adzed kidney shaped seat  with a pierced back jointed  and pinned into the seat. Supported on three splayed and tapering octagonally carved legs visibly wedge jointed through the seat top.

Privately sourced from the original owners family and presents in superb colour and condition.

Size: 40.5(w) x 32(d) x 76(h)cm.  Seat height 37.5cm / 14 3/4″.
